OK, So I have completed two DIY projects on my list so far...
The first one is this organizer. Since I am getting rid of my teacher desk monstrosity, and moving to a table, I need a place to put all the stuff that was in my drawers.
So...
I could not get the pics to come out well. I made a template on Power Point using some scrapbook paper that I scanned.
Click on the picture above to get a copy of the file.
My second project was to create the signs for this door I saw on Pinterest.
So here is what I came up with...
The cards ready to be cut out, laminated and adhered to my door for the first day of school.
Click on the image to download the PDF file. The last card is left blank for you to add your signature. I would love to see pics of your finished door!
Also, I am working on Learning Objectives backgrounds to go inside dollar store frames for this project (also found on Pinterest)...
So far, I have completed the Western Theme, Seuss Theme, and Buzzy Friends Theme, and Camping Theme.
Click on each image to get the PDF file. All are formatted for 81/2 X 11, but I left enough border in case you need to trim to 8X10, depending on what size frames you get. I will continue working on the rest of the themes that I have.
My duct tape goodies will be here on Monday, and I can't wait to start playing with that!
So what have you been up to this weekend?
Hi Teresa,
ReplyDeleteLove your teacher toolbox. I made mine a few weeks ago! Can't wait to use it!!! I started a Made It Monday post last week of what I was making all summer and it quickly has become a linky. This Monday will be the first one. I am having one each Monday for teachers to share and inspire all the wonderful things they are making over the summer. Would love it if you would think about linking up Monday:)

Little Treasures
I love your "Learning Objectives" signs/posters. You asked what we would like to see next...well, I am sure there are a dozen other requests already ahead of me. However, I would love to see something with polka dots and owls...something that would go with SchoolGirl Styles Owl/polka dot theme.
ReplyDeleteI also love how your organizer turned out. One more thing to write on my "to do" list!
Thanks so much for your freebies. I love the themed objectives! I downloaded the western theme. On your pic above it shows it with a tan background. I noticed when I downloaded it, there was a white background with a square of tan on each sheet. Should the background be white or tan? I just wanted to make sure I didn't do anything wrong. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhere do I purchase the tool box containers? Lowes, I think I read... Are they specific ones? (dimensions?) Could you share how you scanned and created those labels in Power point? I would like to learn how to do this.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your wonderful ideas. I am beginning to feel creative again! Thanks for reawakening that in me!
Just finished my organizer. I'll be posting pictures soon. Thanks for sharing your awesome ideas. I am your newest follower and also new to blogging. If you have a minute come over and check out my blog.

Fabulous 4th Froggies
Hi! I just adore the Pinterest Door Sign- and i love your PDF of it!!! I was wondering if you had one that was able to be edited- I teach a bilingual 3rd grade classroom, and I made a similar one in Spanish, but I LOVE the borders around yours!!!
ReplyDeleteHow do you keep the frames from falling off the board? I tried doing this a couple of years ago but they wouldn't stay up.
