Currently, a Cyber Monday Sale, and a Little Holiday Hoopla!

What happened to November?
I cannot believe it is already

I had this past week off for Thanksgiving and spent the week with family in San Antonio.
Even though I took things with me to work on for school, I didn't touch them all week.
(I'll be sorry about that next week though.)

Now that I am home, I am getting ready for the big TPT sale!
Thanks to Krista Walden for this adorable button!

I am loading up my cart in between working on some new products for my own store.
I can't wait to do some shopping tomorrow!

Here's what I have been working on today...
First I revamped this old file and spruced it up.  My kids had such a blast last year writing their letters and had some great questions for Santa.  You can read some of the letters from last year here.

My kids love all the coordinate graphing games that I have made, so I am treating them with this Gingerbread Man one.  It will keep them busy and hopefully encourage those slow pokes to get a move on so they can play too!

And finally, I revised this persuasive writing activity to give it a little gift wrap too!

All three of these goodies are easy, no fuss activities to have at the ready during this busy season!

I am hoping to have a few more ready next week too!

So, What's in YOUR cart?
Please share!
I might need want have to have it too!

I am also linking up with the One and ONLY, Farley from
for this month's Currently.

OK, so I am off to put away all my laundry from the trip, and get ready for tomorrow with my kiddos.
Plus, I need the sleep to be in good shopping form!

File Folder L♥ve! - A Product Review

If you're like me, you have
of file and folders!

I had the opportunity to try out some office supplies from Smead and Shoplet.

I have just discovered some new folders that are going to make my life
SO much easier!

I love hanging file folders.
I use them to file student work for the week.
What I don't like about them are the tabs that are forever falling off!
Well, Smead Fastabs to the rescue!
I absolutely l♥ve them!

I cannot wait to change out my old system with these new folders.
The are heavy weight and very sturdy.

I also got these Supertab folders with a 90% larger label area.

No more trying to squeeze my info into that tiny space.
I am going to be one happy, organized teacher!

Trick or Treat!

Naw, just a TREAT!
A flash one-day sale

Thanks to the AMAZING Krista Lyn for her adorable graphic!

An Ooey Gooey Problem Solved!

I have had a BIG, ooey gooey problem in my classroom!
My fourth graders CANNOT seem to grasp
They were really making a mess with the glue.
So I had to nix it.
No more glue.
Only glue sticks.
Problem is,
I hate them!
They don't stay stuck,
and I end up with little pieces everywhere
that should be stuck to something!

So after being frustrated with the mess and then with stuff not sticking,
I stumbled across these little gems...
They dispense the glue one drop at a time!
Don't know how I missed them before,
but boy am I glad I found them!
Cheapest place I found them was Discount School Supply.

Glow and Grow Tuesday - A New Weekly Linky

Based on an idea that I got from Jen Runde over at Runde's Room
I  started having my kiddos reflect on the work in their weekly folders
using a Glow and Grow strategy.
You can read Jen's post about the strategy  here.

Using her idea, I made this form for the kids to use to assess their weekly work.
You can click on the image to download a Word document that you can use too.

It got me thinking that, as teachers, we should do the same thing.
And so, Glow and Grow Tuesdays was born.

Each week, think about one or two things that went really well for you.
It could be a lesson that went really well, a great idea you had, any positives from your week.
Then think about one thing you did that you think you could improve, or grow.
Come link up and share your GLOWS and GROWS with the rest of us!
We'll help celebrate the Glows, and maybe offer suggestions for your Grows.

Hopefully we can plant some new ideas and watch them grow too!

Remember the rule of three.
Check out the two entries before you, and one after,
and let's share some celebration and encouragement!

Grab the button above, and link up below!

Let's get this party started!

I am finally getting my groove back and getting some creating done!
My kiddos really enjoyed the math presentations
I made last week!

Must get better at lesson planning!
The ideas are all running around in my head,
but I REALLY need to sit down and get myself more organized.

Now, it's your turn!
