Workshop Wednesday: Math Websites

Today I am linking up with Ideas by Jivey for

I just ♥ her new button!

This week we are focusing on favorite math websites.

Here are a few of my faves...

With Thinking Blocks, kids can model and solve word problems.
What's even better is that Thinking Blocks supports the common core standards.

I love the way the kids can model out their thinking in solving problems!

They can start off by watching a video demonstration.

Then they get a problem

They have to sort out the information and label the problem.

Then they plug in the numerical information.

Once all the information is in place they solve the problem.

It gives them immediate feedback.

The whole thing takes them through the process step by step and provides coaching when necessary.

You can use Thinking Blocks for the following...

A couple of my go-to sites for teacher materials are

Common Core aligned math practice sheets that are FREE!
You can download the files to your own computer.
The sheets are designed so that they are easy to grade!

Another site I like for FREE practice sheets (when necessary) is
Lots of variety and EASY to download and use!

What are some of YOUR favorite sites for Math?
