Organization, Extreme Sports, and a Mother's Day Freebie

OK, so I mentioned that I got a new mounted projector
and that I had to rearrange my classroom
(3 weeks before the end of school.)
I went in to school today to work on putting my room back together.
I still have a LOT more to do,
but I did accomplish quite a bit today.

What do you get for the man who has everything
(because he buys it for himself?)

I have a terrible time picking out gifts for my hubby!

He's had skydiving on his bucket list,
so for Christmas last year I got him a tandem jump
and this indoor skydiving experience for the family.
Well, yesterday we headed out to have a go at it.

Here's what the place looks like...

It's a giant wind tunnel.

This is what it looks like inside.

Here we are after our experience...

Unfortunately all four of us were inside the air chamber,
so there wasn't anyone to take our picture while we were "in flight."

We did get a video though that shows us all in action.
It was a lot of fun, but it is harder than it looks!

I also got the hubs and my son a Rusty Wallace Racing Experience out at P.I.R.
They went a few weeks ago and got to drive (Ben) and ride along (Scott)
in a race car.

And finally,
here are a couple of Mother's Day freebies for you.

Just click on the images to download a copy.

How was your weekend?

  1. That skydiving experience looks AMAZING! Kuddos to you....I would have probably driven away when I saw what the place looked like with those tall funnels. :) Thanks for the Mother's Day freebies!

  2. Wow! Exciting post. I think I would injure myself skydiving but I bet it is good exercise! Thanks for your Mother's Day letter. I never thought about doing that (I'm 7th so we don't really do "gifts"...) However, I will offer it in lieu of our weekly journal as an option. Thanks!
