Tried it Tuesday and TPT Teacher Appreciation Sale

Don't forget about the Teacher Appreciation Sale at TPT!
Everything in my store is on sale all week
with an extra 10% off from TPT today and tomorrow!
I filled my cart today and spent WAY more than I should have!

Next, I am linking up with Holly from Fourth Grade Flipper for

I got this idea from Gina over at Beach, Sand, and Lesson Plans.
Here was her version...
So, we tried it too.
We started out brainstorming what we would have to do to be a dog.
Then we wrote a poem similar to Gina's.
I was planning on the Mother's Day version,
but then I got the idea to have them write to the incoming fourth graders,
How to Be a Fourth Grader...
Here's What they came up with...

I think they came out great!
I am going to have them on display for our Showcase Night next week.
Now we are working on the Mother's Day ones.

Thanks Gina for the great idea!

I was going to link up with Teacher Talk Tuesday, but I left my Ipad at work.
I will have to post tomorrow.

I did some serious damage at the TPT sale today!
And there's still another day!
What other goodies will I find?
Please share if you know of something I can't live without...

Here's what my cart looked like today!

Yowza!
But I really NEEDED all of that stuff!
Right?

So, what did you buy today?
