Back-to-School Blog Hop

I'm linking up with some of my favorite
3rd and 4th grade
blogging buddies
for
Follow the blog hop all the way through, and there's
a Giveaway at the end!

Grab a cup of coffee or a cold one
and get ready for some Back-to-School
tips and FREEBIES!

Organization is paramount in my classroom.
To make things easier for me and for my students,
each student has a number.
They use these numbers for lining up, turning in work,
supplies, book baskets, etc.

It makes keeping track of things a LOT easier.
When I get a new student they get a new number or one that a former student had.
Instead of names for things like the Job Chart and my Student Sticks
I use numbers.
It works well for me!

Something new that I am trying this year is
instead of one turn in basket for completed work,
I am going to have two.
One for completed work, and one for those who need more time to work.

I made these cute little signs for my turn-in baskets.
I just ♥ them!
Graphics are by the amazing Nikki from Melonheadz
and the border is from one of my other faves Creative Clips.

Just insert them into a Word or PowerPoint document
and you are ready to go!

I also have been working on this for the wall above my Classroom Library.
It took a lot of finagling, but I finally got it to work!
So here's another little goody for you.

  1. I have reminders in the bottom of the drawers that I use for turned in work. They just aren't as stinking cute as yours!

  4. Your signs are really cute. I like the idea of turning in work, even when it's not quite finished. It's a good way to check in on progress.
