Back-to-School Blogger Exchange

Last month some teachers participated in a Back to School Blogger Exchange hosted by Katie from Adventures of Ms. Smith and Covered in Glitter and Glue

I got paired up with Jenna from The Fashionista Teacher.
Take a look at these
SWEET goodies I received just in time to head back to school!

Thanks so much Jenna!

A Classroom Tour

Here are some pics from my classroom before the kids came back last week...
Here's the window just outside my door with my BE decorations.
I wish it was a real window and not just an enclosed bulletin board of sorts.

My door with my Vista Print magnets and my
Best Thing I learned Today Poster where the kids put their exit post-its.
Just inside my door to the right is my classroom library.
The book bins are labeled (color coded) by Lexile Level.

This is my catch phrase and tag line this year.

Boggle Board and Positive Thoughts frame next to the library.

A view from the back of the room and the carpet area.

A view from the side and my small group table.

Morning meeting and carpet area.

Views from the front of the room.

My Turn in baskets...

Brag Board for shout outs next to the door.

Area for my Behavior Puzzles
that I blogged about here.

Notebooks for the kids - Lots of different notebooks this year
in an attempt to help students better manage their papers.

We had Meet the Teacher and the parents and kids seemed to really like the room.

Stay tuned in for a peek at our first week adventures...
