After a long dry spell it seems,
I have been really busy lately putting the finishing touches on some new products!
In math, we have been working on double-digit multiplication,
along with factors and multiples.
I mad these two presentations for my kiddos and they loved them!
My kids really love it when they get to write on their desks!
Both of these allow the kids to work right along with the slides on their desks.
The penguin "Happy Dance" in this one was a HUGE hit!
... and finally,
after the long awaited release of my buddy Michelle's Scrappy States,
I was able to finish up this one!
I am so happy with the way they turned out, and hope you enjoy them too!
If you missed this goody the other day,
Head on over to my FB Fan Page
(under the Fan Freebies tab) and grab it up too!
We have been so busy diving into the Common Core that I have not been able to do as much with my monster unit as I would like, but we are getting to a few things.
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to have the kids work on reading fluency with this awesome Halloween theme book.
I print of copies and divide the kids into partners and have then practice reading with each other. Then the partners get to perform their poem for the class.
It's definitely a favorite!
There is a whole series of these books, and I have most of them!
Do you use Mentor Sentences with your class?
I have been using the ones I got from the very talented Ideas by Jivey.
I also use her...
This week we are working on
My kiddos are still struggling with identifying simple and complete subject and predicates, so I made up a quick practice sheet using sentences from the book.
Here you go!

You can also grab these cute little monster not cards from my fan page.
I made them for conference confirmations, but you could use them for anything!
