In the US, a report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds.
Approximately 80% of the children that die from abuse are under the age of 4.
Child abuse occurs at every socioeconomic level, across ethnic and cultural lines, within all religions and at all levels of education.
There are over 15,000 children in Foster Care in Arizona
(over 12,000 in my county alone.)
More than 90% of these kids are in desperate need of a CASA.
What is a CASA?
CASAs, Court Appointed Special Advocates, are dedicated adult volunteers committed to speaking up on the behalf of children in foster care and looking out for their best interests. CASAs are everyday people, determined to make a difference in the lives of abused and neglected children.
In Arizona there is an urgent need for more CASA volunteers!
I bet there is where you live too!
I recently finished my training to become a CASA and am awaiting appointment of a child in need.
I love to see what other teachers are doing in their classrooms.
That's why I love blogging and Pinterest so much!
I also would love to see what you are doing with
MY products in YOUR classrooms.
That's how this new program came about.
Here's how it works.
Use one of the products you purchased from my store (not a freebie) with your kiddos. Take pictures of the product in use that I can use for promotional purposes. (I will block out any faces or names.) Share those pics with me and/or blog about the product. Choose another product from my store to receive for FREE!
Simply email me with your pics and/or a link to your blog post.
Once I have checked them out, I will email you back and you can choose any product from my TPT store (excluding bundles,) and I will send it to you for FREE.
