Pick 3 - Top Pinterest Picks for March

March and April are pretty stressful months for teachers
with all the test prep stuff we HAVE to do.
Darn all the testing!  
It takes a lot of the fun out of teaching sometimes.
Here a few fun activities to help ease the stress this month.

Start off my making some ooblek.
You can even make it green to tie in with 
Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Day!

Then add in some lessons about the properties of matter to spark the conversation about whether ooblek is solid or liquid...
And here's an activity to explain the properties of quicksand!

  4. I had planned on making oobleck with my kids this week but it looks like we will have snow days on Thursday and Friday. Guess I can do it next week as a reward for testing. Thanks for the ideas!
